Isabelle Charest, MNA for Brome-Missisquoi, announced on behalf of the Minister of Culture and Communications, Nathalie Roy, financial assistance of more than $100,000 to D ‘Arts et de rêves in Sutton to enable the acquisition of specialized artistic equipment and to make improvements on the century-old barn housing the artists and their workshops.
Granted through the Programme Aide aux immobilisations of the Ministry of Culture and Communications, the funds will be used, among other things, for the acquisition and installation of equipment to facilitate the realization and dissemination of the artistic activities of the organization.
In addition, redevelopment work on the park adjacent to D’arts et de rêve will provide universal access to its entrances, a unique venue for the dissemination of works and artists’ achievements.
