In support of the Canadian Red Cross for the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, Brome-Missisquoi’s Les Communautés Singers choir will present a benefit concert at the Sainte-Rose-de-Lima Church under the honorary presidency of Mrs. Sylvie Beauregard, mayor of Cowansville.
The event will take place Friday, June 10 at 7 p.m. at Sainte-Rose-de- Lima Church, 605 Principale Street, Cowansville.
The cost is $30 per person Tickets are on sale at the Cowansville City Hall during opening hours (cash only) or can be purchased online through the site https://lepointdevente. com/billets/t7d220610001 ($1.14 fee applicable per ticket).
Monetary donations and cheques will also be accepted the night of the concert. Red Cross tax receipts available depending on the amount.
One hundred per cent of the proceeds from the sale will go to the Canadian Red Cross in support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Fund.
The initiative is a joint effort by choir directors John and Laura Barr, the choir members, all volunteers involved, and partners Sainte-Rose- de-Lima Church and the Town of Cowansville.
