A tent was set up downtown in Knowlton on the weekend for the launch of Louise Penny’s 17th book, The Madness of Crowds.
The event, organized by Brome Lake Books in partnership with St-Martins Press, Minotaur Books and Raincoast Books, was the author’s first live event held in years because of the pandemic.
The launch was also live streamed for people who weren’t able to secure a ticket for the in-person gathering on Saturday afternoon.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to local women’s shelter l’Horizon Pour Elle.
