The Knowlton Lions Club recently donated $20,000 to the Ophthalmology Department at the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital which will help upgrade its equipment to an autofluorescence module, something that was not previously available in the region. Patients had to be referred elsewhere to use this technology.
In keeping with the mission of the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Foundation (BMP Foundation), the request from the Ophthalmology Department is to improve the quality, safety and timelines of care and services while providing medical procedures in a professional manner.
