Coinciding with the 31st anniversary of Brome County News (BCN) this year is the 50th anniversary of the Town of Brome Lake. In 1971, the villages of Bondville, East Hill, Foster, Fulford, Iron Hill, Knowlton and West Brome came together to form the Town of Brome Lake. To celebrate this milestone, BCN is organizing a call out to the community to send in any interesting old photographs or historical tidbits about Brome Lake that can be shared with readers. Every week, we will publish some of the different submissions on our new website. The local community is at the heart of Brome County News and we look forward to your participation.
